Li Meijing


Li Meijing, female. An associate professor at the School of Marxism at the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology (USST). Li is from Baoding, Hebei Province. She is a member of the Communist Party of China and a Doctor of Laws. Li’s research focuses on Marxist theory, moral philosophy, and ideological and political education. Li chaired 1 general Shanghai Philosophy and Social Science Project and 1 key program of the Ministry of Education. She has published over 20 academic papers in journals including Studies in Ethics, Studies on Mao Zedong and Deng Xiaoping Theories, Science Technology and Dialectics, Jianghan Tribune, Social Sciences in Hunan, Probe, and Theoretical Horizon. She also participated in writing 8 books and published many academic articles or news reviews in news media including Chinese Social Sciences Today, Jiefang Daily, Zhejiang Daily, Social Sciences Weekly, Shanghai Observer, and Eastday.com. Li has won the second prize in the USST Young Teacher Teaching Contest.

Courses: Undergraduate public courses of “Introduction to Mao Zedong Thought and Theoretical System of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics” and “Current Situation and Policy” and a postgraduate public course of “Research on Theory and Practice of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics”
