Guo Mingzhe. An associate professor at the School of Marxism at the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology (USST). Guo is from Tanghe, He’nan Province and received a PhD from Fudan University in 2009. She is on the board of Shanghai Marxism Research Association. She was nominated for “Female Rising Star” of USST in 2013. From 2016 to 2017, she was a visiting scholar in Russian State Social University.Guo’s research and teaching focus on Marxist basic principles and philosophy of science and technology. She has published 1 monograph and many papers in journals including Philosophical Trends and Studies in Dialectics. Guo chaired and completed the Youth Program of Humanities and Social Science Fund of the Ministry of Education, the Publication Fund Project of Academic Works in Shanghai, the Scientific Research and Innovation Project of Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, the Special Scientific Research Fund Project of Selecting and Training Excellent Young University Teachers in Shanghai, the Social Science Fund Project of USST, and the Climbing Project of USST.
