Peng Zongxiang. Male. An associate professor and a postgraduate tutor at the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology (USST). He is from Longshan, Hunan Province and graduated from China University of Mining and Technology. He won the award for the outstanding young teacher in Shanghai in 2008. He is currently the Secretary of the Party Branch of theSchool of Marxism in USST, a director of China Creative Studies Institute, an executive director of Shanghai Creative Studies Institute, director of Creative Education Professional Commission, and one of the lecturers in creative studies in Shanghai.Peng’s research focuses on CPC building and ideological and political education in universities and colleges, the exploitation and use of moral education resources, and creative entrepreneurship education and creativity development. In recent years, he chaired and completed 1 project of Humanities and Social Science Research Fund of the Ministry of Education, 1 Shanghai Philosophy and Social Science Planning Project, 4 projects of Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, and 1 Key Course Construction Project of Shanghai. Peng has published many papers in journals including Ideological & Theoretical Education, The Party Building and Ideological Education in Schools, and Contemporary Youth Research. He also teaches postgraduate specialized courses including Principles of Ideological and Political Education and Theories and Methods of Ideological and Political Work.
