Song Qinghong. An associate professor and a postgraduate tutor of the School of Marxism at the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology (USST). She is from Yongfeng, Jiangxi Province and received a PhD in history from Fudan University. Song is a member of the Chinese Modern History Society. Her research focuses on gender history in modern and contemporary China and historical culture and ideological and political education. Song has published nearly 20 papers in journals including The Journal of Studies of China's Resistance War Against Japan,Journal of Historical Science, Republican Archives, Research on the History of Modern Chinese Women (Taipei), History Teaching, Journal of Zhejiang Normal University (Social Sciences),Social Science Forum, Journal of Jiangxi Normal University (Philosophy and Social SciencesEdition), andLanzhou Academic Journal. Since 2012 when Song worked in USST, she chaired 1 project of the Youth Program of Humanities and Social Science Fund of the Ministry of Education, 1 project of Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, 1 project of the Humanities and Social Sciences project of USST, and 1 project of the Teacher Development Center of USST. Song also wrote and published 1 academic work (Anti-Japanese War andMobilization of Women: A Study of the New Life Movement's Women Directing Committee, Shanghai People's Publishing House, 2018).
