On the morning of November 8, Peng Zongxiang, Secretary of the CPC branch of the School of Marxism, and Xia Xiaohua, Deputy Secretary of the CPC branch, went to the National Convention and Exhibition Center to extend warm greetings to “small leaves” (volunteers) from School of Marxism working at the second China International Import Expo (CIIE).
5 students from School of Marxism are lucky enough to become a select group of “small leaves” of CIIE this year. Among them, 2 helped the security guards to keep order in a food court on the first floor of the venue with maximum traffic, and 3 worked in the reception group for the reception and guidance of world leaders and other foreign guests. When visiting the five “little leaves” one by one, Peng Zongxiang and Xia Xiaohua raised questions about their work, thanked them for their contributions and efforts for CIIE and encouraged them to show the CIIE spirit and the vigorous mental outlook of Chinese youth in the new era with their professional volunteer service.
