On December 3, 2021, School of Marxism of University of Shanghai for Science and Technology (USST) and the Publicity Department of the Party Committee of USST held 2020 University Engineering Moral Education and Integrated Moral Education in Universities, High Schools and Primary Schools Forum in the first meeting room in the Documentation and Information Center. Professors and scholars from over 10 institutes were invited to attend the forum, including Tongji University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Shanghai University, Zhejiang University of Technology, Jiangsu University, Anhui University of Technology ，Shanghai Normal University, Shanghai Ocean University ，Shanghai Polytechnic University ，and High School, Junior High School and Primary School Affiliated to USST.
Li Jie, Secretary of the Party committee of the school of Marxism of USST , hosted the opening ceremony of the forum. On behalf of USST, Liu Daoping extended sincere greetings to the participating experts and scholars, and briefly introduced the centennial history of our university and the basic situation of engineering thought and politics. He pointed out that China is a large engineering country, and Engineering Moral Education has contemporary and practical significance for talent cultivation. We should hold high the banner of Marxism, promote educational work, cultivate new people, cultivate and carry forward the craftsman spirit of excellence, and shoulder great responsibilities bravely to strengthen students' ideals and beliefs in line with the theme of the time. We should form a vertical and horizontal multi-dimensional thinking perspective and promote the comprehensive upgrading of Ideological and political education. Yang Changliang fully affirmed the significance of Shanghai University of technology in carrying out Engineering Moral Education Construction Based on discipline advantages and actively promoting the integration of moral education in universities, primary and secondary schools, thanked the participating experts for their support for the construction of moral education in Shanghai, and briefly introduced the construction of curriculum ideological politics and the integration of moral education in universities, primary and secondary schools in Shanghai. He pointed out that to promote the integrated construction of curriculum ideological and political education and moral education in colleges, universities and primary schools, we should pay attention to four aspects: system and mechanism reform, ideological and political teaching, integrated construction of teachers and cultivation of characteristics.
Subsequently, the forum entered the exchange and speech session. The exchange and speech of experts and scholars at the meeting explained the great significance of the integration of moral education in colleges, universities and primary schools.
