In order to continue to implement the career planning project for young teachers and help young teachers grow rapidly, the College held an expert consultation meeting on career planning for young teachers in conference room 1117 on the afternoon of December 1. Professor Jin Yaomei, dean of School of Marxism attended the meeting, including Professor Zhang Guifang of Shanghai University of Finance and economics, Professor Ye berong of Party School of Shanghai Committee of C.P.C., Professor Zhao yinliang of Shanghai Normal University, Professor Zhao Guichen of Shanghai business school Professor Che Liping of Shanghai University of technology and Associate Professor Chen Yanhong of Shanghai Ocean University attended the meeting. A total of 16 new young teachers of the college attended the expert consultation meeting. President Jin Yaomei presided over the meeting.
There are two principal contents of this expert consultation meeting. First, young teachers put forward their confusion about future development. They put forward some issues of concern, such as difficulties and breakthroughs in the publication of academic papers, application process of scientific research projects, achievement transformation at the graduate stage, future career development path, contradiction between short-term performance and long-term achievements, etc. Second, experts give detailed answers to the puzzles raised by young teachers. Experts unanimously expressed that young teachers should pay attention to theoretical learning, arm themselves with advanced knowledge, stimulate their enthusiasm for learning and work, practice their internal skills, dive down, overcome impetuosity, study calmly and prepare lessons carefully, strive to form their own teaching style, comprehensively improve the teaching and scientific research level of young teachers, and make due contributions to the future development of the college.
