In order to fully implement the spirit of the Party's 20 National Congress,Guided by the teaching results, the education mechanism of the integration of ideological and political courses in primary and secondary schools was further discussed. On the afternoon of January 10, 2024, the School of Marxism of the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology jointly with the School of Environment and Architecture and the Experimental junior high School affiliated to the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology held a seminar on the construction of the integration project of ideological and political courses in large, medium and small schools. The meeting was presided over by Li Jie, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Marxism, Lu Xiao, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Environment and Architecture, Lu Liming, principal of the Experimental Junior High School affiliated to the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology, and relevant teachers attended the seminar.
During the event, the participating teachers from the School of Marxism and the School of Environment and Architecture of the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology expressed the hope that they could take this seminar as an opportunity to integrate, share, connect, synthesize and integrate beneficial resources, and establish a three-dimensional, diversified, advanced, complementary and interactive collaborative field. Teachers from the Experimental Junior High School affiliated to the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology introduced their innovative practical experience in ideological and political education and shared their innovative attempts in teaching, social practice and cultural inheritance. This seminar allowed the participating teachers to have a higher and more comprehensive understanding of the integration of ideological and political education in primary and secondary schools. It clarified the significance, standpoint, ideas and methods of the integrated curriculum, and realized that the moral education curriculum with the integration and content system in middle school can promote the healthy growth of students and achieve the lifelong happiness of students. We must start from the practical problems, start from the standpoint of human development, and examine from the perspective of relationship theory. This seminar has strong practicability and operability, all participants feel benefited and inspired a lot.
